The fastest way to reach us is inside the app: Settings, then Help and support. A real person reads every message and answers you in the app, and you get a notice when they do.
On iPhone
Tee18 is on TestFlight, Apple's app for apps still in testing, while we finish the App Store release. TestFlight has to be on your phone first, or the Tee18 link shows an error.
- 1Download TestFlight from the App Store (free, made by Apple). Get TestFlight
- 2Open the Tee18 TestFlight link on your iPhone. TestFlight opens.
- 3Tap Accept, then Install. Tee18 updates itself from then on.
Phone notifications and the Apple Watch need this version, not the browser one.
On Android and computers
Open tee18.netlify.app in Chrome. Tap the menu, then Install app, and Tee18 sits on your home screen like any app. Everything works there except the phone notifications and the watch.
Common questions.
Is Tee18 really free?
Yes. Every round, yardage, stat, drill and match is free. You never have to pay to use the app, and you never have to buy anything. We found other ways to keep it free.
Which courses are on it?
Every golf course in Texas we could confirm is open: 706 of them, public and private, par 3s and 9-holers. Every one has a card on the map; most have every hole mapped for the GPS. More states are coming.
A hole on my course looks wrong, or the GPS says the course is not mapped yet.
Not every course has public map data yet, so some are still being drawn by hand. On the course page tap Send the scorecard and add a photo of the scorecard, and the course layout if they have one. We use it to fix the holes. Or tell us in Help and support.
Who can see where I am?
Nobody, by default. Go Live on a round and your friends see your card, your shots and your cart until the round ends. Live map shows your cart on the course to your friends, or to everyone at the course if you pick that, while you are there with the app open. On a casual round the people on your card see your cart on the GPS screen. All of it is switches you turn on yourself.
Who can see my scores?
A Compete result is public once both players confirm it: your record and your wins are on your profile and on the boards. Your casual rounds show to your friends if you leave that on, and on the unofficial boards if you leave that on. Your shots and putts are never public unless you share a round.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings, Your data, Delete my account. It asks twice. You can also reset your casual stats there and start over without losing your Compete record.
My invite code: how do the rides work?
Share your code from Your ride. Your friend signs up, types it, and plays one full round (18 holes, or 9 at a 9-hole course). Then you get 2 rides to pick and they get 1.
I have a golf brand.
